Edwin Gomez

Edwin Gomez, M.D. joined the Legacy Healing Centers Medical Team in 2021.

In addition to working at Legacy Healing Centers, Dr. Gomez operates a private practice and research here in the South Florida Area and the Florida Keys.

Prior to joining Legacy Healing Center, he served as Medical Director and Attending Psychiatrist at a variety of treatment settings throughout South Florida in both the residential, hospital, laboratory and community based mental health treatment centers.

Doctor Gomez has participated in a variety of clinical research studies. He was the Principal Investigator for studies in Substance Use Disorders, Major Depressive Disorder, Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia studies. He also served as a Sub-Investigator for studies in ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, general medicine as well as working on women’s health studies.

Doctor Gomez is bi-lingual and speaks English and Spanish.
